could someone tell me what this is? and if i can delete it from the programs folder cause all it is is an empty folder. my friends also have this folder??

It's one of XP's great mysteries. Xerox is one of several folders that cannot be permanently deleted. Like your least favorite inlaw, it keeps coming back and coming back and coming back...

The Xerox folder is used for content caching when using the windows Image Acquisation wizard, if you never use WIA you can try to delete it, but it will probably be restored upon reboot
