X-Men 3 Sneak Peak

I don't even know who Jean is anymore
Was she the one that could like control things with herr mind? Not storm, the one who wasn't good at it?

In the comics/cartoon, Jean is possessed by the Dark Phoenix, who if I remember correctly is some sort of goddess from another dimension, and she's a pretty mean bitch! While the film doesn't exactly parallel the comic and cartoon universe, I imagine that they will have taken a lot of inspiration from this storyline.

I'm not sure how much of a spoiler that is, if someone can tell me how to do those "spoiler" buttons I'll add one

I've seen Jean in the previews, I believe she is the Phoenix.

Yeah it's pretty certain, the phoenix in the water at the end of the last film was a giveaway really. I really hope X3 is good, I have been a bit worried about the changes of director etc but I've got my faith in Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellern, whom I don't believe would stand for any old rubbish script or dialogue.

Plus, the stills I've seen in Empire look ace!
