Wireless adapter won't stay connected

Most problems with USB adapters can be traced back to the software used to install them. Uninstall everything that has to do with the Netgear adapter. Take the adapter out of the computer. Use the CD to install the drivers. This is to prevent you from installing Netgear's software for connecting which is causing Windows to 'fart'.
Now shut down the computer.Install the adapter. Start back up - let Windows find the drivers - and let Windows manage the connection.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
