    This is just MS monopololizing.

The site is nothing special, and it's layout is pooped.

Why did MS shut them down anyway??? wasn't that site encouraging people to use Windows XP?

If it wasnt for Binks site i wouldnt have originally found xp-erience. Windowsxp.nu has been around since the very start, possibly even before this site, i think he does a great job, who cares what the layout looks like, its the content that matters, and bink always delivers info on the latest beta's etc.

Copyirght of the name, nothing to dow ith content, Microsoft just beleive that people may mistake it for the official Windows XP site (yeah...right), basically its just a business thing, and nothing against bink or the content of the site...
Well thats what they say, i reckon they're just pissed at all the info he has on their beta's.
(p.s. Benny, your sig pic needs fixing :) [edit] its working again now .. *shrug* )

I think its good that the petition has been created, and supported by so many people, its just a shame that (i think) it wont do any good, i mean when was the last time Microsoft listened to what the public want?

IBM Probably developed NTFS, then Microsoft Probably stole it... they tend to do that.

But i see your point, i mentioned this to Jewelzz yesterday, hopefully nothing will become of it, as NTFS isnt a product as Windows XP is

    Lets hope so...

afterall it is only a domain name, and Bink XP knew exactly what they are doing when they registered that domain name.

Actually i was talking for MS not against them , if it is really "Only a domain name" Bink XP will buy a new one , move to that domain name and notify its users... it can be a mess and some users would bother them about moving back to xp-erience.org , errm, oops. windowsxp.nu, but its only a domain name, no?

Yeah, it is only a Domain... but its Binks, id be right pissed off if some corporation decided they wanted my domain.

Bink will continue to use his other domain www.bink.nu if windowsxp.nu gets taken from him, so its not a major problem, just a pain in the ass.

I see what you mean Speedy. First impressions weren't quite right, that site has a lot of stuff on it.

But I still think the layout sucks :p

Got to agree, the design is no NTFS, thankfully his new beta site looks a lot better.
