I just tried Lycoris. I LOVE it as a desktop GUI Linux. It runs smooth on my Celeron 400 w/ 96MB RAM, the only problem is my video card. The PCI 2MB Generic thing i have will only let me run 640x480 8bit 60Hz. Ordering a new 8MB ATI Rage AGP card today for $15 to allow higher resolutions so i can expierence Lycoris fully.
I got it a couple of days ago too.
And I agree with JJB ... its got a great Windows-like GUI and its really easy to use. I'm currently trying to get the fonts to look better on it (I might possibly install TrueType fonts from Windows with kfontinst )
Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
