Yup, WB 5 does have the glass effect and it does seem to be slightly less of a resource hog (I have WB5 as I'm an object desktop member). If you just run the glass effect theme it doesn't seem to take up that much memory.

This can do transparent taskbar, just use with Vista theme and....
