Windows Update - Error

If you cannot update XP check your c:\windows\windows update.log. If you have this error: Error 0x800C0008 then go to Tools\internet options\languages. You must have one language selected. Boom windows update works again!

OMFG Hipster i owe you about a crate of larger for that. IT WORKED !!!

I found the error string and looked in languages, none were listed so i added uk english, ran the update and WHAMMO

I'm getting this error in the log: "Error 0x80072EFD"

Any idea what it means? I haven't been able to use windows update for a while now

may be a stupid request but can someone post the link where I can find all of this updates and be able to save them to disk and then burn into a cd for backup? I couldn't find it in the windows catalog. Thank you
