Hello & Good evening all !

I have a wierd problem with windows media player ,

Recently i uninstalled WMP 11 because i tought that i don't need it since
it doesn't have much difference than WMP10 ..
Well the problem is that i can't install WMP10 since i uninstalled WMP11
because when i try to install it it says that i have a newer version WMP installed on my system, i tried to remove as many as possible registry resources that related to it and no hope ..

Hope you might know what's the prob and can help me..

    Thanks in advance /Cen0x™

Download and run Windows Installer Cleanup Utility. When you run the utility you can select a program and use it to remove any registry entries, etc.

    Search Microsoft Downloads for it.

system restore, i tried that wmp11 crap, had to uninstall had same problems.

System restore seemed to be the only thing that worked.

System restore? Seems rather inconvenient if you ask me...

Here's Microsoft's official way to uninstall WMP11. Apparently it's supposed to rollback to whatever you had installed previously.

Yea, which for me it didn't work. I also think I have read other people having problems with the officail way, or problems later on.

Reinstall wmp 11 then use the windows uninstall utility to remove it this time.
