Windows Activation question

A coworker installed XP Pro on a newly build machine...on E partition rather than C. Is there anything I can do about that??? If I decide to re-format the harddrive, will XP allow me to activate the same serial number again?

the number comes up on screen during activation at the relevant place if you say to activate by telephone and not internet....

You only have to call if they ask, you should be fine activating it on the internet.

If your usuing the same hardware should just eb able to activate online as normal with no probs

I agree with Khayman - you only tend to have problems if you are using a hardware build that has significantly different (about 2 or 3) pieces of hardware.

also if you dont have the number, you can get it by one of the downloadable algorythms on the net...
