Have you deleted the file SULFNBK.EXE commonly mistaken for a virus this file reads long file names in win89.
after i had deleted that long file name... the window still cannot load into the desktop... wonderin wat happen to my win98 com........ but it can boot in safe mode....
sumore after loading windows... the screen will blank and my old monitor will keep blinking (my power led, menu ed keep on blinking...) anyone??
While your there in safe mode goto your device manager & look for multiple instances of the same devices - remove them all & reboot. Windows at times will create duplicates which are only visible in safe mode & can cause problems.
