Where can I get an AIM bot?

I want to run a bot with preset responses to user-input text, similar to SmarterChild. Is there software to do this?

I checked around, and I couldnt find anything (not looking hard enough, maybe)... pretty sure smarterchild was built from scratch, and I cant find anything on the code for that either

i found one a long time ago but it didn't work !

my friend was actually working on one.
it was going to be a plugin for trillian and gaim.
