Like the title says.. what do you all think is the best video card for under $150? 9500 (non pro)? 9600? TI4200??? It needs to play BF1942 with 2X AA MUCH MUCH better than the current GeForce3 TI200 (overclocked like a mug 250/450) that i have in there now. Here is the system it will be in..

    ECS K7S5A (chepo man bios)
    Athlon XP 1700+ @ 138fsb (makes it 1800+ speed)
    576mb PC133 SDRAM
    40gig WD 7200rpm HD

    thanks guys!

go with a 9600 PRO They are under 149 (maybe under 140 now) and they will cover you well into the new DX9 games.

I'm using the 9500 PRO (about the same more pixel pipelines but slower clock) and have AA and aniso set to medium, no sign of lag in BF1942.

yea i would recommend an ATI Radeon 9600 Pro also. I got mine not so long ago and it runs like a dream for most games on high specs :).. keeps me happy :D

My GF3Ti200 wupps on in BF1942. Not OCed at all... =P
What's wrong with your setup might be the shoddy RAM. Sorry, mate, but that does ALOT. I doubt your CPU needs much upgrading, that's a nice CPU if you ask me. ;>
Get a Volcano 7+, a new mobo and some higher-grade RAM and you can OC that CPU to 2100+ EASILY. My northbridge told me to get the **** off at 160 MHz FSB. ;)

And if the Sapphire one is anything like their 9500Pro it'll probably overclock like nothing else too.
