What to buy and where from?

Which site did you get those prices from? I'm having trouble whittling this down from about £250.

Give http://www.komplett.co.uk a try aswell.

Converting from Dollar to Pound when buying PC or other items never gives a realistic price as everything costs much more in the UK.

£250 sounds about right for the gear your looking to get, if you shop around you may get it a few quid cheaper.

and http://www.scan.co.uk i use sometimes also dabs and watford are worth a look at.

sorry mate i thought prices b/w US and UK would be close, here in Saudi prices are also high. a 3.0e P4 costs about $170 in the US , here it is about $195.

I'm surprised theres that much of a difference between the prices in the UK and US with the strength of the pound at the momment it may be cost effective to get stuff shipped over.

here it seems the Saudi Riyal is glued to the dollar. one euro used to be about 3riyals now its 5.something. one pound was 6.9riyals, now its 7.29. this sux, i feel much poorer.
