this is like the only site i can go to right now!! DAM

yup.. feels like a bomb shelter.. :D ,even GameSpy was down last night..

check this out.. chatting with my fellow host-friends..

Crucial seems to be down as well. This site is up, a lot of others are down seemingly.

Very nicely done. Glad I'm able to be here.

hosted by Rack Shack in heaven!

PS who hosted xp-ereince.org? the one that was in the UK?

Its not who hosts it but who's software they run. The attack was against M$ SQL servers only. Another free advertisement for Linux...

the attack was against ms servers that didn't heed the advice of ms, and get the patch

another advertisement for the service they provide on behalf of the users

the funny thing is that M$ itself hasn't patched their servers lol

it also effects linux machines as it probes port 1434 on all systems. Hence the mass packet loss.

So yeah, initially it is MS SQL's fault for having the exploit there, and admins fault for not patching it immediately, but also those which weren't using mssql got hit too.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
