    Hello,

don't know if I post this in the right section, but my firewall (SPF Pro 5.5.2525) always shows me this file trying to connect... if I block it, everything is running as usual, no apps yielling...
So, my question is, does someone know what is this file for ?

( It's located in c:\windows\system32\DRIVERS, and is named in SPF "NDIS user mode I/O Driver")

I'd like to prevent from loading at startup if it's really useless... ;)

    Thank you Enyo !
I did previously perform a google search and found this thread in this forum but didn't see the info you give at that time...

Anyway, you summed it up right, I disabled this service, it didn't desappear fron SPF Pro but no activity from it anymore, until I started my pc this morning: no more ndiuio.sys showing :)
It was indeed useless, at least for me, everything's running ok so far :)

    Thanx again Enyo !
