What 40gig do i get

    My 40 gig fujitsu 7200 just farted and died...

    im not getting bigger than 40 cus i dont need it

    What's ur guys opinions on the best bet to get ?

    Hi, in my humble opinion I would go with the Maxtor DiamondMax Plus D740X 40GB, which I have installed on several workstations at work, and they are both fast (IDE133) and more important very reliable.

    Cool i can get one of them for £73.96 inc vat at my suppliers. looks a good choice :) thanks.

    Maxtor is good. Western Digital is OK too.

    i also love the maxtor, very fast, very quiet, cool green l.e.d. on bottom too

    IBM all the way. seagate all the way as well 2 of the best damn drives ever manufactured. too many probs with maxtor. western digital is ok
