first off register the domain now... yes now.. try www.godaddy.com they have some very good prices. Also since you already have a site and dont want to pay for more hosting just do whats called a Domain Forward It points you new domain to and exsisting website (ie you personal webspace in this case http://www10.brinkster.com/benquilter so when anyone type in the domain you register it will automatically point to your exsisting website. Make sure you register it ASAFP. Someone who may not be too nice might go out and register it and then you'll be SOL.
