With the recent (hopefully temporary) demise of TuxTime and Project Dolphin, we need something to do...
For those who dont know these 2 projects reported your Uptime and keystrokes, which was all good fun until they came to an end.

So I want to know what "projects" that our members can suggest for other board visitors to take part in.
It needs to be something dynamic, not something that is based on your specs or anything that gives people un-fair advantages by having different machines.

So, any ideas ?

Xsiv, NO! Spam Bad :p

Jewelzz, I've seen that, but that just sort of sits there. Where as with PD and TuxTime you had to do something to acheive scores.
Not so much with tuxtime, other than keep your system stable... But you get the idea.

I'd like something like Project Dolphin, that was fun, outtyping everyone :)

However, I'm not sure what else there is, I'v been looking around for similar things...can't find anything :(

project "adopt a Benny", Iceman`` adopts me.
thats about it.

I wouldn't mind running the UD agent ... but as SpeedY says, something more interactive would be a better choice. :)

Cheers!

I agree, I want something that I can interact with, not something that just takes up space in the tray.

Exactly. Like how you could see the little PJ sign flash whenever you typed something, and you could check how close you are to outtyping Jewelzz, you know

and how the hell should i know?! :p

should be something like that...

mmmhhh why not collect forums instead?

I've seen some pretty crappy lists of forums around - send me your forum links and I'll stick em on a website!!

Chris, that things cool, but there's no way we can keep track of what other people's "score" is.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
