Voice Answering Software

One of my clients has a voice answering application that works well, and has since Windows 95 - ick!

I'm looking for a replacement, something a bit more current. One of the bigger problems with the current software is that there is not a way to back up recordings, and recordings themselves are a bit choppy.

To clarify, this application will run on a server with a phone line attached to it. The software will pick up after "x" amount of rings, and play the appropriate recording.

This is the most cost effective solution, and any other higher-end systems are not an option.

I'm going to scour the net for possibilities, was just wondering if anyone had one they are using or have used, and has recommendations on them.

Thanks in advance.

the last time I did this it was for the facsimile functions - but I accidentally turned on this part of the "suite"!

Anyway - that was with Win 95, on dial-up - so somehow I doubt you are interested! Plus I can barely remember it... can hardly be bleeding edge these days.... though it reminds me I must make a thread about wowexec....

Pardon my thread diversion....

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
