VLC Player Sound Problem

I normally play downloaded videos and things like that with this player. Well, yesturday I inserted a DVD and played it with VLC. The video went, and the sound, music and noises were great, the voices of people I couldn't hear at all.

So I installed PowerDVD to watch it, which worked great.

Why is this happening with VLC, I was a big fan of it, not so much anymore. Does anything have a fix or an idea on how to fix it?

Thanks

You're no longer a fan of VLC because of one hiccup? Seems a bit harsh.

Did you check to ensure what audio track was enabled? Or if any EQ's were set, that may remove voices?

Also you might want to try deleting all the related preference and settings files (I don't know where these are located on windows), or re-installing the app.

I have never changed any settings in the program. Would I need to, which ones should I look at, where do I look for them?

I said not SO much anymore, not exactly NOT at all lol It's an amazing program.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
