I was getting blue screens on my desktop with Vista Home Premium, upgraded to Vista Ultimate and quit getting them. I eventually downgraded to XP and haven't had another one yet .. My laptop is an AMD 64 with Vista home Premium installed, I have yet to get a blues creen on that ..
When you get the screen check the error code and see what is causing it. It could be a couple of things. More than likely a driver issue or something.
