Call me crazy but I can't find a single way to get the Vista Search to show on my desktop whether it be on the taskbar or the sidebar. Is there anyway to enable it?

I think I'm being dense or I just am really busy with my new job, But I can't find an answer.

think you'll only find it either in Start Menu or Explorer... might be wrong.

Just download the attached zip file, extract it and you'll get a shortcut to "Search". Now you can copy it anywhere you want. :)

thanks. I was hoping to get something in the taskbar or sidebar to type in but a link will do for now.

    Thanks again.
