I downloaded VirtualDub to spit a AVI video file. I needed to put it 2 dvd so I could watch it. It was too big. Anywho, it split the file alright untill I watched it. The sound and video is way way way off. Anybody know why it did this and how I can fix it?

Thanks

did you do direct stream copy when you resaved the files?
(happy bday btw)

yea i read a tutorial on how to do it, and yea i checked that. (thanks)

I had this problem when I was converting ogm to avi, I think you need to have a certain plugin

what plugin would it be, you mean one for VirtualDub right...

they had stuff, but most of it was really too confusing. What i got out of it was to decompress the file or something. Accually i got nothing. Tooo Confusing!!!

well, if you just cut the video, you could extract the audio and then remux it if you need to, i dunno if it would change any of the sync stuff though.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
