Somebody can tell me how virtual memory I obtain with 8 GB of RAM?
First off, I bow to you with your RAM amounts
Windows XP Professional x64 Edition supports up to 128 GB of physical RAM and 16 TB of virtual memory. Now, since you have 8GB, I would assume the 1.5-2x multipler still comes to effect, so roughly 12-16GB of Virtual RAM.
What, is this an Oracle server or something? I think it will be a long time before people start putting 8 GB into their home machines, at least even somewhat uncommonly.
Most of my servers at work have 16GB of physical RAM, and they aren't Oracle servers
