Vice city for xbox

I just finish the bike race with the bikers on vice city for xbox and i went to and stood in the pink circle for the next mission and cop came on the curb and ran me over right when the screen was goin to change. When it did this the game froze. Why would it all freeze up like that?

Probably a random glitch. Does this keep on happening over and over?

Yeah it must of been a glitch. Also i got anothre ?. Can anyone tell me all the places u can buy on vice city? I have 39% done which is without doin any of the of the Vigilante Missions. Iam pretty sure i got all the main missions done but not sure.
