VIA Hyperion 4.46 question

There is a feature in these that enable you to install an AGP driver that is compatable with AGP 8x. But when I installed this, I wasn't able to play any games on my system for more than a minute or 2. I have a Radeon 9700pro, and have it set at AGP 8x. What's the deal?

check for a new motherboard bios, and reinstall/get the latest hyperion drivers from www.viaarena.com
also make sure you got the latest viddy drivers..

I got the latest VIA and Catalyst drivers, where do I get the new bios? I need it for a gigabyte GA-7VAX

hmm, now since I don't have a Barton but I do have the AMD Athlon XP 2800+, I should go with the F9?... I currently have the F8

if your gonna do it at all just go with the newest one the F11

alright I used the @BIOS updater that gigabyte offers and it updated my BIOS for me, it updated it to F9, guess that's all I need.
