Very Strange indeed!

After doing a fresh install of Win XP pro, The My Documents folder in My Computer has disapeared. It isn't a big deal it is just very annoying! I'm speaking of the My Documents folder shen My Computer is in group mode. Any ideas?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "group mode." Maybe some screenshots or a little more explanation would help.

When you open My Computer you can choose to arrange your icons in different manners. (the view option) there is an option to put the icons in groups.
