I have this piece of software which came with my motherboard called PC Alert III. It is giving me a warning when i play games and for example watch DVD's that my Vcore voltage level exceeds -13.20v. Is this a problem or not?

Getting very annoyed by it or is the problem PC Alert III software an is there software that does work.

thanks

yes...but i am just wondering if it is a problem or not...

VCore at -13.20?? VCore should be around 3.3 or 1.75 depending on processor. I think that program is reading something wrong.

It checks the following vcore voltages:

+5v
3.3v
+12v
-12v

it beats me but these are standards in the program so i am expecting that it reads it right. The thing is that with the -12v it has a limit of -13.20 but regularly it passes this limit and the program starts screaming... so if nobody heard of the -12v voltage then i am more lost then ever... I have a AMD Athlon 1400+ maybe that helps...

hope to get an answer
thanks.....

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
