VCD quality not optimal

When I play a VCD using WinDVD on XP Pro, the output is not as good as using WMP6.4 in ME. This is a bit frustrating, as you can imagine. I use WinDVD 4 and have the Nimo Codec pack installed. Has anybody else any XP-erience with this phenomenon?

Not too sure, but I believe it's because WinDVD doesn't use codecs for playback. Since WMP uses codecs, it can natively work with DivX as where WinDVD can not.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
