VB Programming

It would seem I need 1 more class for my degree. I need to take a programming class and it has been suggested that I take visual basic in the fall. Since I have limited programming experience I am asking if anyone has some good web sites and/or books they could recommend. I thought I would get a head strat on the class. The kewl thing is that it is an online course so that I dont have to actually deal with a physical classroom. Not like the real programmers experience life. :D

Suggestions welcome.

I have always found the 'Sams' learn in 21 days books good and easy to follow.

Most of the stuff on the web seems to give you a few 'taster' chapters from books, I havent found a good website, the only thing to try, is some of the vb forums or perhaps the microsoft site...sometimes it does have some good articles!

Great links.... I will check them all out and see what I can learn.

Here is a site with so much information it will make your head swim. I got a lot of info off of here:

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
