I have a fairly old PC now (circa 2002) which has a ASUS A7V333 motherboard that doesn't support booting an operating system from a USB drive.

Is there any program I can use that would load from floppy or CD that would allow me to boot an OS from a USB hard drive?

    Thanks!

I'm pretty sure it can't be done. All of the utilities I've ever seen out there specify the bios "must support boot from USB". Then you use the utilities to add the required functions to a usb drive.

What vendor and revision bios are you using? A BIOS upgrade may solve your problem.
