The best thing is - It is possible!! I know that in officeXP you can create an 'administrative point installation whereby you expand the install system to a folder and then you can apply any updates, then burn it to a cd, and install.
Hopefully on of the mods will pick this up, and help us out (maybe even deserving a front-page mention when we find out & post a guide)
it would be cool if the first thread i create made front page on one of my favorite sites lol ill have to check out that sysprep and see what i can do with it but im goign to look at the structure of the driver.cab and see if there is a way to just insert the driver in there and add it to a database soemhow so that when windows searches for drivers at setup it will find that one
Ok this link deals with doing that for 2000 but I would guess that the process would be similar for XP. I'm sure once the offical release of the XP SP happens we'll be able to find more info about slipstreaming it.
thanks for the link thats all i can seem to find also im going home to ohio for a couple days ill put anything up that i find when i get some time myself
Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
