Publisher's Description:

Microsoft has never released a service pack for Windows 98 SE. This contains all updates from Windows Update site and more. It is a self-extracting and self-installing pack. It contains only operating system updates not Internet Explorer, DirectX, Media Player or their updates.
Latest Changes:

  • Added MSMOUSE.VXD from Q254660
  • Added "(Remove Only)" to the uninstall string
  • Removed COMCTL32.DLL from the SPUNINST.INF
  • Fixed ERRORLEVEL bug in RUNPOST.BAT
  • Removed ATTRIB.EXE and FIND.COM
  • Fixed a minor bug in the TWEAKUI.HLP
  • Updated boot logo and added shutdown logo

I have used this - if anyone has any old rigs around running 98 - this is handy and to be recommended..... (the old PIII I used it on is out of commision now I think, but I still remember this!)

I remember seeing this as well. It is good to see it again

We use this extensively. We still have quite a few 98 rigs running POS in the field. No reason to change, they're basically just a telnet client. Have had zero issues installing this on many machines.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
