When I format my IBM 60GXP 60GB drive in NTFS in order to install XP, the system files are installed and the machine reboots and then crashes with BSD UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME. I can partition the drives to 2 x 30GB and then format with FAT32 to get XP installed, but when I try to convert the drives to NTFS under computer management, it crashes with the same BSD. I have 80 ribbon cables, as I have heard this is a problem if you are using 40 ribbons.
My system is a newly built Raid Motherboard with AMD 1800XP CPU, 2 X 60GB IBM Deskstar 60GXP drives, 1GB RAM.

FOR GOD SAKE SOMEBODY HELLLLLP MEEEEEE PLEEEEEEASE

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
