Unkown Device

I'm running xp pro. In the device manager I have one unknown device listed . In properties it is listed as a creative web cam. When i try to uninstall it I get this message "Cannot remove this device. It may be required to boot the system". I don't have any webcams installed. Anyone know of a way I can get this off my computer?

If you havent got one , boot in Safe Mode (by pressing F8)

Remove it in Device manager

then reboot

The device manager is where I get the message that I cannot remove this device.

yeah, but did you try to remove it from there while in safe mode?

It produces the same message in safe mode.
