TuxTime Uptime Banners not workin

Discussion in 'Web Design & Coding' started by Powerchordpunk, Mar 1, 2003.

  1. Check out my sig below (last edited 2/28/03). The tuxtime banner doesn't work. It worked before. I have attached as a txt document (cause I can't show vb code without vb code kicking in) the VB code I put in my sig that WORKED BEFORE:

What have YOU or maybe I done?

This is what I did to make my Audiotracker work. I added ?=.png (as it was a png file) to the end of the line. In your case this would be:

    Code:
    http://tuxtime.dk/cgi-bin/uptime.pl?computerid=35306&image=6[b]?=.png[/b]
If that doesn't work, try adding ?=.gif or ?=.jpg or whatever you can come up with.

    Good luck!

    I'm pretty sure that it's a problem with the forums, it has a problem parsing "& i m a g e" (without the spaces)

  16. wait wait wait

Is that all I need? Just create a txt file with the php source you gave me then save it as a .php file? It doesn't work. Do I need something to mix it with an image or something. By the way, I'm not a php newbie or anything, I'm THE php noob. thx.

Your webserver will need to be PHP enabled, I doubt that your ISP webspace is (un-less you have a very good ISP :))
