    punk is high...hehe

    first, make the desktop shortcut using the target, then goe to properties, then make your cursor active in the "shortcut" box.

    now, you can make it any f key you want

    or a keyboard key, which will be control+alternate+ whatever key you want.

    then, you can make the shortcut icon transeparent, as it needs to be on the desktop for the shortcut key to work

    well, I'm using f3, and this is a real time saver.

    one problem I can't figure out;

    if I'm in my favorites folder, and hit this f key, it will take about 30 secs to kick.

    any ideas?

    what about this for your favourites

    The shortcut keys work for shortcuts on the desktop or the start menu

    cut & paste your desktop hot key shortcuts into a new folder (I've called mine FavHotKeys)

    now cut & paste the folder to
    C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Start Menu\Programs

    saves on desktop space & it still works a treat :)

    :cool:
