Thumbnails not showing on mp3 CD

I Have copied some albums onto a data cd they were in my documents / my music...

On my hard disk the folders had pictures of the albums that were in the folder the when i clicked into the folder all the subfolders had the album cover for that album, they dont show up on the cd unless i manually select view thumbnails, is there anyway to get the cd to automatically show them??

My guess is that it won't and it can't? Beacause Windows will try to write the album info and pic it retreives into the same dir as the music, so obviosuly it can't write to a finished Cd it won't be able to show the info.
I'm probably wrong, it may recognise it as read only and store it somewhere else and may be a completely other issue.

I saved the thumbs.db file etc on to the cd as well as the .jpg files that were in the original folders
