Yeah, imho the amount of "points" you give someone should be a variable between 1 and your power, but I have never seen a mod to let you do that.

It is really just a gimmick and serves no real purpose without negative points, but we had those and people tend to take it really really personally when they get bad rep. and it increases nastiness - especially as the users can see who repped them good or otherwise.

thats true, if someone doesnt deserve rep then it wont be given rather than taking rep away. Some people (read: Henyman) could take it very very seriously.

The idea about variable rep amounts sounds good though, pitty there isnt a mod.
