tempatures?

Hey,

I'm reading all these post, and they are saying my tempature for my cpu is blah when idle, blah when working. How do these people come up with the tempatures? What program? I tried speed fan but it gives me 3 different tempatures, and i have no idea what's what.

What is your Motherboard...didnt see it in your specs...also you have 256mb Ram...sitting dead....did you try slots 1 and 3??

Well my mobo came with system monitoring software, it is not the most accurate but it is better than nothing.

Ive got a ASUS....and I can boot into the BIOs..and get the most accurate reading....

Yeah, u can use either Motherboard Monitor (MBM) or Speedfan.
