Now I'm really baffled!, All of a sudden my Task Manager Facility has disappeared. When I try to run it it never appears, not even in the Address Bar.

Sometimes when I reboot, if the first program I open is Task Manager it quickly flicks on the screen, the icon appears in the address bar then it disappears.

Whatever is doing it is slowing my system down.

If it just recently started doing this, try a system restore.

make a desktop shortcut, target



C:\WINDOWS\system32\taskmgr.exe

or best, put the taskmanager in your system tray at boot, that way you'll have a cpu meter at all times...everyone should do this

2.Create Shortcut
3. right click and select Properties - Change the Run Command to - minimized.
4. Rename the shortcut to "Task Manager" or "CPU Meter" and right click and cut the Shortcut.
5. Paste the shortcut into the startup folder by right click on the start menu - Select All Users - Programmes - StartUp.

You should see the Meter in the system tray. If not then:

6. In the Windows Task Manager window select Options - and tick "Minimize On Use" and "Hide When Minimized".
7. Then minimize the Task Manager

Don't need a cpu monitor I always know what ut is always runs at 100% (cause I run Seti)

I have done all that was asked, now it opens for approx 3 seconds both on Desktop and Task Bar then it closes itself down?
