Task Manager problems

I am running win xp home on my sony vaio laptop and am having problems with my task manager. I have attached a photo. Bascially what is happening is that when task manager starts, it defaults to the process tab but i have no title bar, control box, status bar, or tabs. It is just the process list. This is rather annoying as i use task manager all the time.

Now this is the wierd part. If i log in as one of the other users on my machine, the task manager works fine.

How can this be broken only under my login? It is the same exe for all users.

Anybody have any ideas how i can fix this under my login?

Just doubleclick anywhere along the border and it will bring back all the options...this is just one of those useless options in XP
