I cant remember if i posted this before....

i use sygate personal firewall and ive had to stick it on 'allow all' because i cant figure out how to let it enable file/printer sharing in the LAN.

If its on normal, it will allow ICS in the network but not file and printer sharing.

any ideas how these rules would work ?

right click on the icon go to tools/options/network neighborhood,
make sure both boxes are checked. hope this helps!

hmm i thought it was ticked but obviously not
i'll try it out once my bro is back from work so he can get on downstairs... will let ya know

im >sure< before the format, i did have them both ticked. and the problem remained.

just want to say it was as i thought
it didnt work

the machiens can ICS... but not file transfer
(this is with the filesharing/printer enabled btw)
