well i just moved over from ZA pro, too Sygate pro 5, all seems good, apart from the fact that with sygate, i cant close up UDP 135

I tried creating a rule, to block UDP port 135 on all addresses, Incoming & outgoing.

But according to GRC.com, PCflank.com its still wide open.

I am back in ZA pro now, as without setting any rules, no ports are wide open.

I would rather be using sygate, as it seems more informitive, and has built in browser stealthing, but if i cant close up 135, its no use:(

Thx

Update.... I have enabled the xp firewall aswell as Sygate, and everything is ok, except i wish i didnt need the xp firewall on aswel

Why the hell would they make Sygate so port 135 is open .... thats very Odd ..... as it is a good firewall

Glad to hear you have it all sorted out :)

yeh it was just that i left Generic hosts full access. Now is fine:)
Sygate rox:p

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
