Style XP not working anymore since latest SB Live drivers

Hmm, I downloaded the program again from their site, the latest version (not beta) which is supposed to be cured of the Helper problem. Well I still get it when I try to enable Style XP, damn! I dont want this ugly default XP skin.

This is the message:

STYLEXP is not free? I was not aware of this! never had a prob. w/ it. although is there a way to not let it eat so much memory?

the way i did it was..

uninstall

delete all reg keys


then from thier site - http://www.tgtsoft.com/download.html

notice they dont seem to mention that uxtheme patcher at all :/

doesnt even say in the readme what the thing does. at the bottom it says

"Hope this works. If it does not, you can always try the Style XP trial
for 30 days."

Also, TGT has released a basic, freeware Windows XP patch that enables visual styles (works in place of Style XP). Download the UxTheme Patch here. As a warning, TGTSoft cannot provide technical support for this, so please don't email them asking questions. It's a use at your own risk deal.

This patch enables users of Windows XP to apply their favorite third-party Visual Styles without having Style XP installed at all... Purists may want to give this one a try!
