Has anyone ever gotten that message when connecting to an irc network using mIRC? When that message rears its ugly head...I cannot log onto any IRC network and my browser just seems to go to hell...can't get anywhere. The only fix is to reboot but I want to know what is causing that problem. Any ideas?

Very odd, maybe your temporary internet files? what is that set to? try between 20 and 80mb

Or could be their server:rolleyes:

Skazz

surely every network I try wouldn't be down though....its like...something fills up and I can't even get any DNS resolution.

well see...thats just it...its just not centered on mIRC...when I start getting that error...I cannot do anything while I am online. Can't surf...can't ftp...nothin....its very odd indeed.

i doubt that is an error related to mirc.

Do you have a curputp tcp/ip stack?

Is your page file limted perhaps (i.e. are you not letting windows manage it?)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?

Impressed you have kept this alive this long EP! So many sites have come and gone. :(

Just did some crude math and I apparently joined almost 18yrs ago, how is that possible???
