Stinking Links folder >:(

Call me kooky, but I hate the links folder. I have been told before how to permanently remove this annoying folder, but I can't remember how. Could anyone please tell me how to put an end to this? Thanks in advance.

I know. I am a little strange. I just hate that useless folder. Makes me mad because I can't remove it

Right click on the folder/properties then look for the hide option. Use that. Although still there you won't see it in the favourites list.
