bios setting i think? did u cehck the settings in the powermanagement in control panel?

Is this a name-brand laptop or desktop? I know with some laptops you need to install some ACPI Common Modules or drivers in order for any Power Management (ie Standby) to function correctly. Maybe also some incompatability with SP2??? MS is offering free support for issues related to SP2 @ 1-888-SP2-HELP

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
