The final box office tally is in for the record-setting opening weekend for Columbia Pictures' Spider-Man: from Friday to Sunday the movie took in $114,844,116, setting multiple new records for best opening in box office history; best single day gross (Saturday with $43,622,264); the fastest film to cross $100 million (3 days); and the largest per screen average for a wide release ($31,769).

Oh and Spider-Man 2 will open in theaters in two years , on May 7, 2004
