Sound Problem

Hey!

I got an Asus MOBO with a soundmax sound card..

It all works fine sound and all but sometimes the mic just doesnt work..
It is not the microphone itself but the drivers i think..
I installed the default drivers and all works including the mic, but after a few minutes or after restart the mic doesnt work anymore..

anyone ?

Probably be better off if you didn't use drivers that came with the mobo, but rather, the official AC97 drivers. There's a thread on the forums about them.

in adjust aduio properties have you filled in the recording and playback(all checked)? Then made sure along the recording bar mic is not muted?
